“Life without playing music is inconceivable for me. I live my daydreams in music, I see my life in terms of music. If I were not a physicist I would probably be a musician. Life is like a piano, what you get out of it depends on how you play it.”
— Albert Einstein
As a lifelong musician, I have learned that music is about structure, design, and aesthetics. The emotions music can evoke influence our cognition, values, and sense of reality.
Incorporating art in educational media isn’t just purposeful—it’s essential. Humans are clever, but we are not entirely rational. Music and art bypass the ego to plant new seeds, serving a critical social function that should never be taken for granted.- Peter Joseph

Zeitgeist: System Bound (2013)
The idea behind this piece relates to how we, as humans living on a finite planet with existing physical and evolutionary laws, are bound by systems. We are system bound and it would seem to make the most sense for us to understand the limits of our existence in such ways. Our species’ survival just might depend on it.
Zeitgeist: Requiem for One (2011)
Many are unaware of the fact that “Zeitgeist: The Movie” was actually not a film originally. It was a performance piece that was featured for a 6 night run in 2007, in a small black box theater in New York City. Only one small section was recorded via cell phone of the original event.
Years later, after the creation of the two sequels (Zeitgeist: Addendum and Zeitgeist: Moving Forward) I morphed the original music with the newer sound track music into a 30 min work similar to the original 2007 event. This occurred at the Inaugural Zeitgeist Media Festival in 2011.
